Zoe became the first woman in Oceania to run the 100m in a sub-11 seconds. Creating history running 10.97 before continuing to dip further with a time of 10.96. Zoe made her Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games, the first Kiwi female to do so since the 1970’s.

Zoe Hobbs (Ngāruahine) is a highly accomplished New Zealand sprinter hailing from Stratford, Taranaki. She has reset the New Zealand National 100m record on numerous occasions, with her recent sub-11 time of 10.96s being the fastest time ever run across New Zealand and Australia. Her performance in Switzerland this International season earned her the Olympic Qualifying Standard as she sets her sights on competing in her first Olympic Games in Paris, 2024.
At the Budapest World Athletics Champs, finished 10th and only missed out on a place in the 100m Finals by 0.01 sec.
Zoe is also a qualified nutritionist and graduated from Massey University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Human Nutrition.
