Recognising the unique values of rugby, Mastercard has been a long-time supporter of the sport, and women in rugby. In 2021 Portia joined Mastercard as a Global Brand Ambassador. The role saw her support Mastercard at RWC 2021 and across several grassroots initiatives, each designed to accelerate the development of women’s rugby and get young girls excited about STEM education.
